Welcome to the NASM web site.

NASM, founded in 1924, is an organization of schools, conservatories, colleges and universities with approximately 625 accredited institutional members.  It establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials.

Institutional Membership is gained only through the peer review process of accreditation.  Individual Membership is available by application.

NASM provides information to potential students and parents, consultations, statistical information, professional development; and policy analysis.

NASM has an extensive publications program.

This web site is intended to provide general assistance regarding the operation of NASM including the accreditation process.  Requests for further information may be directed to the National Office staff.  NASM accepts no responsibility for the content of any information or web site attached to this site.

The NASM 2010 Annual Meeting will be held November 19-23 at the Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
