NASM is pleased to announce the release of its 2023-24 Handbook. This edition supersedes all previous editions and therefore presents and includes all current standards and guidelines of the Association required to be used by all institutions.
Institutions preparing applications for Membership/renewal of Membership, and reviews of new curricular programs and substantive changes anticipating submission to the Commission for review in June of 2024 and beyond should refer to current standards and guidelines now found in the NASM Handbook 2023-24.
An archival record of past Handbooks and addenda or approved revisions may be found online. These records enable readers to review changes made to each edition of the Handbook.
PLEASE NOTE: All institutions and evaluators must follow standards and guidelines reflected in the latest edition of the NASM Handbook and any addenda current at the time of application.
