Reevaluation

Associate Membership and Original Membership

After Associate Membership and/or original Membership is granted, reevaluation is scheduled in five years.

Renewal of Membership

For continuing Members, reevaluation normally occurs on a ten-year cycle.

Please Note:

  • Neither the five-year nor the ten-year review period is extended because of deferred actions or requests for Progress Reports.
  • The Commissions have the right to require reviews and/or visits at any time for cause.
  • Postponement may be granted for cause. Please review NASM’s policy on postponements. If postponement seems advisable, contact the NASM National Office.
  • The reevaluation process begins by submitting the Notice of Intention to Apply form. For further information, see Getting Started.
