Hotel Reservations and Cut-Off Date

The NASM group rate is only available online via the website linked above. Please do not use the booking option found on the Hilton Chicago website or the Hilton hotels website to make room reservations.
If you need to make room reservations by telephone, you may contact the hotel directly at (312) 922-4400. Ask for the “National Association of Schools of Music” or “NASM” block to receive the group rate, and request written confirmation of your reservation.
It is imperative that you have written confirmation of your reservation from the hotel before leaving for Chicago. Please contact the hotel directly if confirmation is not received in a timely fashion.
Please contact the NASM National Office as soon as possible if you encounter any difficulties in making a room reservation.
The Hilton Chicago is holding preferred reservations for NASM Annual Meeting participants through 5:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, November 1. After that date, room assignments will be made on a space-available basis only, and the NASM group rate may not be offered. It is possible that the hotel will reach full capacity during the Annual Meeting. Prospective attendees are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible, and cancel later if necessary. (Please review hotel policies regarding the time frame for cancellation without penalty.) Once the hotel reaches capacity, or the NASM room block is filled, other accommodations will need to be secured. Unfortunately, NASM is not able to assist participants in finding alternate lodging.
Room Rate and Amenities
The room rate for NASM Annual Meeting attendees is $179 per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable state and local taxes.
As hotel policy, the amount of one night’s room and tax will be charged to individual credit cards at the time reservations are made.
NASM attendees will receive complimentary standard Internet access in their guest rooms and lobby areas.
For attendees wishing to extend their stay and enjoy the Chicago area following the Annual Meeting, the group rate will be available to NASM attendees for the dates November 27 through November 30, based on overall room availability.
Spouses, Partners, and Guests
Spouses, partners and other guests of NASM meeting attendees are cordially invited to attend the two General Sessions of the Annual Meeting, as well as any receptions and breakfasts hosted for the Association.
The Reception for Spouses, Partners and Guests will be held on Sunday, November 24, 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. If your spouse or guest will attend, please check the appropriate box and provide the individual’s full name as prompted in the online payment process or on the NASM Annual Meeting Registration form.
Note: Spouses, partners, and guests who plan to attend regular meeting sessions other than those indicated above should complete a separate registration form and pay the full registration fee.
Annual Meeting Attire
Business attire is appropriate for meeting sessions and is acceptable at all restaurants.
Special Needs
Should a registrant desire special assistance or accommodations due to a disability, the registrant may wish to contact the National Office to ascertain whether the desired assistance can be provided by NASM. Individuals are asked to contact the NASM office in advance. If registering on site, individuals should speak with a member of the NASM staff at the registration desk.
